Electronics Engineering Technology

Program Objective
The Electronic Engineering Technology program will prepare students with specialized electronic engineering skills in digital/microprocessor/ computer systems, and electronics/ telecommunications/networks. Students are taught to troubleshoot digital and microprocessor based systems, to construct and analyze data communication circuits and systems, and to analyze and troubleshoot analog and digital communications systems criteria.

Training Equipment
Students typically work in two-member laboratory teams. Students will have the opportunity to use the following equipment: Computer systems, network hubs, printers, basic computer peripherals, standard hand tools, soldering irons and various pieces of test equipment, including the VOM, DVM, power supply, oscilloscopes and signal generators.

Class Size
Classes range in size from 15 to 25 students, with the typical class consisting of 20 students.
