Program Objective
This diploma program provides students with accounting / bookkeeping concepts using hands-on instruction, software applications, and simulations. Students will learn the recording functions of the accounting process as well as analyze, classify, and summarize reports and financial information.

Career Opportunities
The Accounting Curriculum is designed with the career student in mind. The positions that a graduate of this program area can expect to attain are among the fastest growing occupations that exist in today’s employment world. Graduates of this program may expect to work as accounting clerks or as members of an accounting firm in many small to medium-sized businesses. Successful completion of this program enables the student to pursue the A.A.S. in an associates of applied science degree if desired.
